Aya started out as a macrame choker.
One of those pieces where you don't quite know why... but it works.

You liked it so much that it started asking me for something more.
More comfort.
More everyday wear.

So Aya evolved.
Now it comes in the form of a pendant with a chain, keeping the original Ethiopian opal, but in a lighter, easier version designed to accompany you every day.
The opal changes with the light, it doesn't stay still.
And that's a bit like Aya too: adaptation, movement, letting things grow when it's time.
It's not a jewel for special occasions.
It's a jewel for your everyday, because every day is special.
(Even if we don't always see it)
